Of Withering Dreams

He loved her in silence for years. Now fate wants to take her from him.

The Dormancy was meant to be the mortal realm’s salvation. From autumn to spring, citizens are forced into a magical slumber to conserve dwindling resources. The divine Ancients vanished long ago, leaving humanity under the merciless rule of the Elders. These ruthless oligarchs preach one motto: “Through Dormancy, we blossom!” But the land is dying, people are disappearing, and hope is unraveling.

For Seryn, this Dormancy will change everything. Upon waking, she realizes nothing is as it should be, and discovers her hidden identity as a magic-wielder. As the threads of reality fray, she learns her abilities are unusual. Unpredictable.
