The Seton Chronicles: Books 1-3

Where should our loyalties lie, to queen, country, faith… or to family?

The reformation is gathering force in a Catholic Scotland of 1546 and Bethia is at odds with her brother Will, a most committed Protestant. Then he and his fellows seize St Andrews Castle, killing its cardinal and precipitating a long siege.

Both Bethia and Will soon find themselves unwittingly caught up in the turmoil of religious fervour and change. Separately, they each begin a long and perilous journey fleeing across Europe, never knowing who to trust and desperately seeking a place of safety. As faith divides nations, can love hold a family together?
