The last thing he expects is to have his life overturned by terrifying shadows and a chance encounter with a mysterious stone tablet, one that catapults him into the parallel world of Haven where giants, hobgoblins, and other creatures of myth not only exist but live alongside humans.

But Haven is no safe refuge. Ancient secrets are stirring, a darkness is growing, and Xander must face not only the truth about this world but about himself. Where does he truly belong, and is anything here really as it seems?
