As the owner of a Bed and Breakfast, Bernadette Maxwell has always played up the rumors that her inn is haunted. It’s been good for business, even if she’s never believed a word of it. Then a freak accident leaves her face to face with her resident ghost: her grandmother Ruby, a free-spirited hippie with strong opinions and absolutely nowhere else to be.

When a guest turns up dead and the police name Bernadette as a suspect, it becomes apparent the killer has her in his sights.
