Something is following Michael Clairborne’s wife. Something that wants what she has.

Now a successful advertising executive, Michael is hiding a secret. A deep fear of the dark. Though he has no memory of what took place down in the dark basement of his old home as a boy, it was the catalyst to lock away the special abilities of his childhood, for good.

When Michael’s terminally ill wife is offered an experimental medication, the new hope for survival begins to take a different twist, when his loving wife and daughter report sightings of an unnerving figure following them. A chance encounter with a mysterious woman then pry’s open the door to a hidden part of Michael’s mind, and as he begins to piece together snippets of the past, they begin to offer sinister links to the present, more terrifying than he could imagine.
