Mapton on Sea

Stella loves her life in London, far from the flame-haired, foul-mouthed grandmother who raised her. But when a late-night phone call brings news that Gina has taken a fall, Stella is reluctantly pulled back to the seaside town of Mapton-on-Sea, and to a relationship she’s never quite resolved.

As summer settles in, old tensions resurface and Mapton’s close-knit community refuses to stay in the background. Between misbehaving dogs, mobility scooter gangs, and sparks of romance, Stella and Gina are drawn back into each other’s orbit and forced to confront the past if they’re to move forward together.
