Megan Burgan thought she was climbing the ladder at Edge Software, a company on the verge of unveiling its most ambitious creation yet, a powerful AI known as Dragon. As a mid-level marketing manager, she expected product launches, late nights, and the pressure of deadlines. She didn’t expect a stranger to approach her with a chilling warning: Dragon is not what it seems.

At first, Megan dismisses it. But when calls and encrypted messages start reaching her phone, when warnings escalate and the pieces don’t add up, she realizes the threat may be real.
