She Thought I Knew

A missing girl. A town full of secrets. A killer with a grudge.

Fifteen-year-old Jessica Woodward vanishes after a community dance on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast.

Everyone assumes she’s run away. They’re wrong but why was she taken?

And is she still alive?

As police searches stall and leads evaporate, criminology professor Maeve Rosetti returns home to help find her missing niece while navigating a complicated relationship with the girl’s mother, the sister she left behind. Off-the-grid inhabitants of the small town, a boyfriend and even Maeve’s own brother-in-law emerge as possible suspects.
