The Friday Edition

Snow isn’t the only thing falling in Denver, Colorado, on Christmas Eve.

When a brilliant young district attorney plunges to her death from a high-rise balcony, the police call it suicide. Her sister, reporter Samantha Church, calls it something else, murder.

Determined to uncover the truth, Samantha follows a trail of evidence linking the DA to a dangerous and deadly drug smuggling ring. What begins as a personal investigation quickly spirals into the biggest story of her career, and the most dangerous.

But Sam carries her own demons. Her battle with alcoholism has already cost her a prestigious reporting job and, most devastating of all, custody of her young daughter, April. Now, as she edges closer to the truth, she must navigate a deadly web of betrayal, cartel violence, and deception, all while facing her own worst enemy, herself.
