She was the saint of the neighborhood. Then somebody knocked her off.

Charlie North thought he was living in a quiet, safe suburban neighborhood, the kind with nice lawns, helpful neighbors, and the occasional bake sale. But then, neighbors get knocked off left and right.

The cops are baffled. The neighbors panic. The HOA forms a watch patrol. They raise money for their version of Paladin.

Charlie, Ben, Pettise, and the crew set out to nail the killer. Just when they think they’ve got their man, he ends up on a slab at the morgue.
