The Dolocher

In the frozen alleyways of 1788 Dublin, something is tearing throats open, and the city believes it’s a demon wearing a dead man’s soul.

Alderman James is despised by the starving masses of the Liberties, but when bodies start appearing in the snow with wounds no human should be able to inflict, he’s their only hope. While superstitious crowds scream about the Dolocher, a savage beast possessed by an executed killer, James sees the methodical work of a flesh-and-blood murderer. To prove it, he’ll have to descend into the gaslit underworld with only one ally: Mr. Edwards, a silver-tongued member of the notorious Hellfire Club whose loyalties shift like shadows on ice.
