The past has a tendency to catch up to us in the blink of an eye. It’s no different for Brooke Altman, a 17-year-old girl who is graduating from a local high school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with big dreams of becoming an interior designer. She’s excited to start college and pursue her passion. However, tragedy strikes when the most important person in her life, her mom, passes away, leaving her with unanswered questions and a desire to uncover the truth. Brooke decides to do DNA testing, which leads her down a path of unexpected discoveries, leaving her with more questions than answers.
