Education is not failing. It is succeeding at the wrong thing.

For decades, modern education has defined success through performance. Grades, rankings, standardized assessments, and credentials have become the dominant measures of achievement. Students are trained to meet expectations, optimize outcomes, and compete effectively.

And they do.

But beneath that success, something is breaking.

Anxiety has become a baseline state. Burnout appears earlier and more often. Meaning feels increasingly fragile. Students learn to perform without integrating, to achieve without inhabiting, to adapt without understanding.
