Mars Rogue is my next-door neighbor, the town’s baddest boy, and now my boss.

In exchange for my no longer needing to retrieve my own groceries ever again, I’m helping a borderline criminal plan a “Flag Day festival” for the town of Bandera, but mostly for his brother. Apparently.

No, I don’t understand what’s going on either.

All I know is that Mars sure makes a lot of carrot cake for someone considered “dangerous.” And he’s absolutely not even a little bit hot.

Surely with danger in question, that hotness factor won’t change, right?
