Most photographs freeze a moment that’s already gone. Mark Taylor’s show one that hasn’t happened yet.

He’s a Chicago photographer who felt pulled toward an old camera he couldn’t explain. Now it reveals tragedies before they happen. A drowning child. A deadly shooting. A building that hasn’t burned yet. The images come whether he wants them or not. So do the nightmares.

At first, it’s a curse he can live with. He reaches the child in time. He stops the shooter. One impossible rescue at a time, he saves the people in the photographs.

Then comes the one he can’t stop.
