Burning Evidence

I’m supposed to prove he burned down his own restaurant. Falling for my prime suspect was never part of the investigation.

Michael Hayes is everything I’ve been warned about.

Older. Dangerous. Controlling.

A devastatingly handsome bad boy with a criminal past and enough enemies to fill my suspect list.

His multimillion-dollar restaurant goes up in flames days before opening. The evidence points straight at him.

My job as a fire investigator should be simple: follow the evidence and prove Michael did it.

Except the evidence starts lying.
