“Papa, how will I find you in Heaven?”

That simple question came from a three-year-old boy named Levi, and it caught his grandfather by surprise.

At the time, Dr. John Morris had served in Christian ministry for more than twenty years. He had preached, taught, counseled, and consoled thousands of people. He knew the Word. He knew the work. But in that single moment, with Levi’s eyes looking directly into his, something changed. Something even more important came back into focus.

With tears in his eyes and a lump in his throat, Dr. Morris answered his grandson with only a whisper: “You won’t have to find me, Levi, because I will find you.”
