Megan Dawson, a museum curator and historian, is detail-oriented, reserved, and a little rigid. She thrives on structure and plans, but secretly craves that human connection being stuck at the museum has created in her life. Hosting a town meeting to plan her upcoming historical exhibit takes a turn when she gets into a heated debate.

Cooper “Coop” Jackson, a paramedic, is outgoing, humorous, and a bit of a risk-taker. He uses his charm to mask insecurities stemming from a past mistake. Wanting to make up for his latest blunder, he brings a peace offering to the museum, only to make things worse, if that’s possible.

Megan and Coop are thrown together when the town’s mystery lands in their capable hands. As they take over tracking down what the clues mean, will their hearts soften? Is Coop destined to stay enemies with Megan or is he the human connection she’s been missing? Where will the town’s mystery take them next?
