When a blast from the past rocks the present.

The discovery of human bones in a wooded area by a golf course gives DS Tom Robertson his first case since moving to the Met. Who is the victim? Why was he buried there? And how much can Tom and his new DCI, John Walters, find out from their initial enquiries before they are off the case and the Murder Investigation Team take over?

Two further murders narrow down the search for the killer. MIT has a suspect with motive, means and opportunity. But Tom thinks they should be looking in a different direction. Can he close the case while staying out of danger?
