Caroline knows there’s something wrong with the woman she and her husband Travis hired to babysit their eight-year-old daughter. She can feel the danger lurking behind the woman’s eyes. She can feel it in the touch of the woman’s handshake. Caroline knows she shouldn’t leave her daughter alone with this woman. She knows something catastrophic will happen if she does. But she can’t make Travis believe it. She’s sick, Travis reminds her, paranoid, delusional. There’s nothing wrong with the babysitter. There’s nothing to be afraid of. Then the call comes when Caroline and Travis are out to dinner. The house is on fire, and Caroline and Travis race home to face the horrifying truth.
