When a car explodes outside the LA County Superior Courthouse, it kicks off a chain of events that drags Ben Carter into the fight of his life. With a police officer’s body found in the trunk of the car, and all the evidence pointing directly at his friend, Josh, it will take all of this new lawyer’s cunning to solve the case.

Having graduated just weeks earlier, Carter lacks the courtroom experience needed for a worthy defense, but when a mystery lawyer steps in to help, the unlikely duo begins to unravel more than just a simple murder plot. With a cartel boss funding hitmen, and the LA PD looking for payback, Carter finds himself caught between two armies out for revenge.
