An unlucky thief. A grumpy djinn. Together, they’ll save the world…whether they like it or not.

Gavyn Donatti is a thief having a bad day in a streak of very bad days. He just lost the rusty old dagger he was hired to steal, so his ruthless boss sends thugs to kill him. When a mysterious, and apparently bulletproof, stranger sends the thugs packing, it looks like his luck is about to change.

It is. For the worse.

Turns out he’s been saved by a surly, secretive genie (but don’t call him that) named Ian who hates humans and only grants “wishes” under duress. If he grants them at all. Ian is pledged to help Gavyn fulfill his life’s purpose. Problem is, neither of them knows what that is.
