The Silence Between Us

The road was supposed to help David Bennet figure out what came next. Falling in love was never part of the plan.

After selling a software algorithm for more money than he ever imagined, David leaves his old life behind and sets out across the country in a camper, hoping the open road will help him find a new direction.

Mara Callahan has another reason for joining him.

For years, she’s admired the quiet, thoughtful man who always seemed just out of reach. When David reluctantly agrees to let her come along, Mara finally has the chance to discover the man behind the polite conversations, and perhaps find a place in his future.
