In the early 1980s, a series of quiet, targeted killings spread through a criminal underworld. The dead were not innocent. There were men already living outside the law, and their disappearances passed largely unnoticed.

For years, the murders attracted little scrutiny. Then forensic evidence began to surface, revealing a pattern that could no longer be ignored.

At the centre of it was Werner Pinzner, known as “Mucki.” He operated efficiently within a system designed to protect those who ordered the killings and those who carried them out.
