The Night People

With abusive parents and no friends, Sam doesn’t think his life can get much worse. And then the Night People return.

A shy teen loner, Sam is teased mercilessly when school bullies find out about the Night People. The creepy, apparently non-human beings have visited him off and on since he was five.

No one believes they’re real, and everyone thinks he’s crazy. And he’s afraid they might be right.

Jade is new in town, a bit insecure, and still mourning the death of her father. Sam trusts no one, but it’s hard not to trust Jade, who’s smart and outgoing and wants to be his friend.

When Sam tells her about the Night People, he’s sure she too will think he’s crazy. But instead, Jade suggests the two of them do some sleuthing.
