The Needs of the Ark

Humanity’s last refuge is an ark in deep space.

Bronwyn gave up everything so that her family could have a chance on the Space Ark Samsara. She assumed she’d be bringing her husband, children, and nephew. She was wrong. Bronwyn thought Americans would be the majority on the ark. She was mistaken. Bronwyn also assumed her family would be safe.

With humans facing extinction on Earth, those who remain face death through world war or viruses. The settlement on the Moon is overflowing. The Mars settlement, likewise. Earth’s remaining hope is a space settlement cobbled together by whatever governments have spare. The controlling force, a collection of armed forces, led by the United States, tasked with establishing a government when the population gets to 2000. Payment for a spot is three years of rations and a spaceship that attaches to the ark. You also need to know that the Space Ark Samsara exists.
