The Mumfest Murders

When Thomas Gabriel and Rose Daniels head to New Bern, North Carolina, they’re expecting pumpkin pie, quiet streets, and a much-needed vacation before the town’s famous Mumfest.

Instead, they find a dead body in the park.

The police are quick to blame a local councilwoman. Rose would rather enjoy the festival and leave the matter to the authorities, but Thomas isn’t convinced they’ve got it right. Soon, their getaway turns into a tangled investigation filled with small-town secrets, political grudges, and more than one shocking twist.
