The Man They Freed

The only man who can stop the frontier’s most feared outlaw is the one locked behind bars.

Southeastern Arizona is drowning in blood.

Ranches are burned, travelers vanish, and whole settlements live in fear of one name: Luis Mateo, the ruthless outlaw known to the Apache as Wicked Warrior. Cruel even to his own men, Mateo rules through terror, leaving a trail of bodies across the territory and humiliating every posse and army patrol sent after him.

Even President Grant demands his capture.

There is only one man who knows how to hunt him. Former army scout Jess Larkin.

The problem is, Larkin is serving time in prison.
