Kevin Austin is appointed librarian of the mysterious town of Eden moments after the previous librarian is poisoned right in front of him.

Now stuck with a magic ring he can’t remove and a library where books talk back, Kevin discovers that “cataloging the collection” includes keeping track of ancient artifacts, managing temperamental ghosts, and occasionally rescuing teenagers from demons in the haunted woods.
