A thousand years ago the Sylvan Warriors cast the Shadow Lord into the dark, ending a bloody war. Although their sacrifice became legend, their legacy soon turned to dust.

Across the Kingdoms, the old defenses, the wards, the warriors, the ancient pacts, crumbled one by one.

Now the Shadow Lord has returned. And the world is learning what it means to face true darkness again.
