The Gatekeeper’s Descendants

Imagine being dead, and discovering that’s the easy part.

There you are, not a care in the world, racing through fields of lavender, your beloved mentor always nearby. Then the authorities from a Kingdom you refuse to enter arrive with an order. Not a request. You’re going back to Earth.

Some kid down there needs you.

It was supposed to be simple. Pipiera had one job: reach out to a boy named Matthew on Earth and make a connection. His fate was supposedly at stake. The problem? She wasn’t sure she cared.

Why the Kingdom Authorities chose her to teach him was anyone’s guess. Pipiera’s own time on Earth had been brief, and she had no idea what lesson she could possibly offer a boy she’d never met.
