Commodore Raptor Warwyk receives command of his own starship…and orders for a mission to cross vast swaths of space and rescue a beleaguered ally of Starfire Kingdom from mysterious alien invaders.

Nestorian Republic faces attacks from powerful alien spaceships on its exploration and mining vessels and the aliens are abducting the survivors.
