Short Stories: Excerpts from Author Aaron Ryan

Short Stories: Excerpts from Author Aaron Ryan is a lightning tour through one of Christian speculative fiction’s most restless imaginations. Nine worlds. One pulse: what remains of the soul when the sky falls, the body fails, or the future arrives too soon.

From Dissonance Volume I: Reality, Sergeant Jet Shipley learns the first rule of a gorgon-haunted Earth: one look, and it is over. The End: Alpha drops you into 2113, where a virus and a smiling tyrant try to erase the last believers. Talisman: Subterfuge follows a haunted vigilante who bargains across worlds to buy back the dead. As The World Burns watches faith smolder in a young-adult wasteland. The Phoenix Experiment asks whether a starship can resurrect grief without birthing monsters. The Slide frays humanity at the edges of failed teleportation. Forecast asks what you would do if you saw 9/11 coming and no one believed you. Blood Echoes locks a mother, twin inmates, and an ancient body-swapper inside the same prison. The Darkness Within lets an author drink a serum that writes back.
