Twenty-year-old Elora Laiken accidentally ended up in this dimension with a broken heart and the staggering grief of having witnessed the massacre of her entire family. Her body was so brutally damaged that her species was categorized to-be-determined. The one stroke of good fortune was that she landed in the best possible place; a very old and secret society of vampire hunters with the medical means to put her back together and the willingness to do it.
