Murder at Holly-Haven

Lights, camera… murder.

When FBI agent Kevin Kane takes a bullet to the thigh while chasing down elusive bank robber Eli Clark, he expects to recover quietly at Holly-Haven, a high-end retirement home for aging Hollywood legends. What he doesn’t expect is to land in the middle of a baffling string of theatrical murders straight out of Tinseltown’s golden age.

First, a former starlet loses her head, literally, during a remake of Sorry, Wrong Number. Then two ex-child actors collapse after sampling a deadly dessert on the set of Hansel and Gretel. And when the revolving set of Dancing on the Ceiling goes haywire, it’s curtains for the leading man.

With the help of sharp-eyed Sheriff Rosie Sanchez, who’s got a badge, a backbone, and a prize-winning stallion named Huracan, Kane must figure out who’s turning movie magic into murder. Meanwhile, Eli Clark hasn’t disappeared from the picture. And when the cameras roll on a High Noon showdown, the bullets may be real… again.
