Now Blade finds himself chasing a trail of secrets across the Nevada desert, through divorce ranches, ghost towns, atomic proving grounds, and a model community built in the shadow of nuclear tests.

The deeper he digs, the more dangerous the truth becomes.

A scientist dies under suspicious circumstances. A reporter vanishes while exposing a government cover-up. Shoshone activists warn that the land itself is being poisoned. And somewhere beyond the barbed wire fence of Sector 9, a deadly experiment is about to begin.
