Daughter of the Gods

In fourth-century Caledonia, Flora is a young Pictish healer devoted to the gods of her people, until the druids proclaim she has been chosen to become Brigid and defeat Rome’s rising “nailed God.”

Drawn into ancient ritual, rebellion, and a struggle for her own identity, Flora hears the Christian story from the outside: one Creator rather than many competing gods, a Savior who offers Himself as the sacrifice, and a kingdom advanced through faith, hope, and love rather than the sword. Yet Christianity comes entangled with the Roman power her people fear and hate.
