Before the Tides Turn

Ellie Rose Callahan never expected to start over at fifty-five.

After her husband disappears, along with their savings, Ellie returns home to Driftwood Harbor to reopen her grandfather’s beloved bookstore and begin again.

Waiting for her are Caroline, her childhood best friend, and Landon Parker, her former high school boyfriend who just happens to be the town’s police detective. Then there’s Augustus Waverly, her grandfather’s best friend, who died in the bookstore years ago and seems in no particular hurry to move on.
