A Scent of Lingering Death

In a dying academy, teenage witch Elira is struggling to cope with the sudden loss of her magic. Her fragile reality is shattered by her new substitute teacher, a cynical, drunken alchemist who claims she “smells of death” and mistakes her for a witch infamous for speaking to the dead.

As Elira navigates this strange accusation, a group of newly arrived warlocks with a knack for trouble drag her into an even bigger mess. When the alchemist forces them all into dangerous scavenger hunts disguised as survival lessons, Elira must find a way to endure the chaos of the living.
