My life as a deputy district attorney is fulfilling, if a bit predictable. I’ve been doing this job for two decades, and I win most of my courtroom cases without breaking a sweat.

Enter John Moroz, a rich millionaire playboy accused of murder. He’s handsome, wicked smart, and thinks he can evade my questions.

Too bad I never give up. Unfortunately for me, I discover that Moroz is covering up the existence of an actual Fae Court, right out of a fantasy novel. Definitely not what I had planned for a midlife crisis.

Now, my investigation angers a fae prince, who perceives me as a threat to his kingdom. Either I solve this crazy murder case, or I get tossed into an icy dungeon with no escape.
