Rook Steele

They blame the tribes for the bloodshed. Rook Steele knows the truth.

A former Army scout, Rook recognizes the work of trained soldiers when he sees it. And the brutal robberies spreading across the Arizona Territory bear the unmistakable mark of a man who knows exactly how to wage war.

That man is Victor Kane, a ruthless Army deserter determined to turn settlers and tribes against each other.

When Kane nearly kills Rook and leaves a young orphan in his path, the hunt becomes personal.

With the boy in his care and a determined frontier doctor, Sarah Whitmore, at his side, Rook sets out to stop Kane before the territory erupts into bloodshed.
