Gideon’s Gate

He built his world to keep everyone out.

Then a stranger came over the fence.

Ten years after his wife’s death, former military man, Gideon Hayes has disappeared into a solitary life on 100 isolated acres in rural Florida. Then, as a category four hurricane bears down, a terrified young woman appears outside his gate, running from armed men. And she looks enough like Gideon’s dead wife to stop him cold.

Taking her in sets off a chain of events he never sees coming.

As the storm closes in, communications fail, his property is breached, and Gideon realizes the men hunting the woman haven’t come only for her. They’ve come for him. Trapped on his own land with a hurricane raging around him, Gideon is forced to confront a past he buried 10 years ago.
