The Missing Pieces

Lara Nova thought the worst day of her life was losing her husband.

Then she discovered who he really was.

After Daniel Nova dies in an apparent suicide, Lara is left drowning in grief and unanswered questions. But while searching for a note, she uncovers disturbing photos, hidden files, and evidence of a secret life Daniel never shared with her. The more Lara learns, the more her grief turns into anger.

Detective Melissa Sato and her partner, Robert Lloyd, are investigating a brutal murder staged to resemble a Ted Bundy killing. The murderer calls himself The Mimic, a serial killer recreating the crimes of infamous killers while leaving almost no evidence behind. As the body count rises, Melissa realises the case may connect to a second investigation involving women found murdered and hidden inside barrels.
