The Serpent and the Savior

She ran from a false prophet… straight into the arms of the bounty hunter hired to drag her back.

Delilah James has known only one kind of faith: fear dressed as righteousness. Raised under a powerful preacher whose sermons hide cruelty and control, she escapes carrying a truth that could destroy his empire. Wounded and hunted, she knows if they catch her, she may not survive.

Josiah Boone hunts the guilty. When a church offers a bounty for a dangerous runaway, he expects another job. Instead, he finds a woman beaten nearly to death and a story that looks nothing like justice.

Now the bounty hunter sent to return Delilah may be the only man willing to protect her. As the men determined to silence her close in, trust turns to something neither expected.

Can Delilah and Josiah expose the truth and find faith, healing, and a love worth fighting for before the man behind the pulpit destroys them both?
