First Explorer

Kyle Russ signed up for Mars. He got the galaxy instead.

Chosen for humanity’s first attempt to colonize another world, he expects adventure, danger, and a new life. Then twenty-seven ships leave Earth, and the Explorer Program reveals its true purpose: investigate a mysterious extraterrestrial warning before whatever sent it reaches humanity.

Kyle’s mission goes wrong almost immediately.

Stranded on an alien world, he has no way home, no understanding of the civilization around him, and no idea what might be waiting at the coordinates he was sent to investigate.
