Growing up in a small Midwestern town in the 1990s, Guy is accustomed to making his own entertainment. But nothing prepares him for Gabby.

They meet in the middle of a bad acid trip, when the mysterious stranger appears seemingly out of nowhere and helps him through it. Soon, a shared obsession with local band WIDD draws them into an unlikely friendship filled with late-night adventures, drugs, ghost stories, strange encounters, and feelings Guy can’t ignore.

There’s just one problem: Gabby isn’t really Gabby.

She won’t tell Guy her real name. She won’t tell him where she lives. And the closer they become, the more determined she seems to keep parts of her life hidden.
