A Chain of Pearls

The last thing she wants is to dig up the past…

A celebrated journalist is found dead in Edgartown Harbor, and the police call it accidental. Kyra Gibson doesn’t buy it, not when the man was last seen alone on a senator’s yacht in the middle of a nor’easter.

Kyra only came to Martha’s Vineyard to close out her estranged father’s life. But the paperwork doesn’t add up. The people he was meeting don’t want to be named. And the questions Kyra asks as a lawyer: Who benefits? Who’s lying? Who’s protected?, make her a problem.
