Murder at Mountjoy Manor

Meet Charlie Jones and Annie McLeod. They’ve given up chasing villains and moved to Coombesford in Devon for a quiet life. But there are villains in Devon too.

When Charlie Jones finds a body at the bottom of the waterfall in the garden of her English village pub, she assumes it’s a case for the local police. But when suspicion falls on young chef, Iris Murphy, Charlie and Annie are pulled into the investigation.

Simon Mountjoy was the local boy made good. Returning to Coombesford after making his fortune in London, he spent thirteen years renovating his family home. While he brought employment and prosperity to the village, his talent for upsetting people meant plenty had reason to hate him. But who hated him enough to kill him?
