A thousand years ago, Malakor sealed away the world’s magic to starve his enemies. The plan worked perfectly. It also buried him alive, stripped of divinity, memory, and name, ground down into just another body feeding the Magocracy’s ledgers. Around him, golems and dying men serve the same masters equally.
