A Not So Rustic Retreat

If there’s one thing more dangerous than fireworks, it’s dating.

Note to self: Lying facedown on the floor while my vacation home gets ransacked isn’t romantic. That break-in wrecked our simple lunch. Definitely not the date I had in mind.

My only reason for spending the Fourth of July in Idaho was to try dating Brittany Asato. And now I can’t relax while expecting trouble behind every tree.

I have to know who did this. But how do you juggle dating with crime-solving?
